Prizm Document Converter v10 introduces the following new features:
PDC v10 introduces an entirely new RESTful interface. This greatly simplifies the use of PDF and integration with your web-based applications and services.
We have improved the performance, stability, and security in the conversion of Office data to PDF, SVG, and raster formats.
We have made significant improvements in the areas of fidelity and stability when converting all formats to SVG.
CAD conversions to SVG now produce significantly smaller files with no loss of fidelity.
The Raster Conversion Service increases the system's performance and stability and allows better handling of Raster Content created in various color spaces and using different bit levels.
In PDC 10, we’ve moved to a RESTful service based architecture for Content Conversion. Based around the Content Conversion Service (CCS), this takes full advantage of the Prizm Platform Services to provide a stable and high-performance environment, producing all content with excellent fidelity and exposing a flexible and intuitive RESTful API.
The new PDC demo provides a clear view into the use of the product and the entire conversion process. Each step is laid out clearly with the URL, HTTP verb, sent, and received JSON clearly displayed. This greatly simplifies the use and integration of PDC, regardless of your chosen language or architecture for deployment.
